Course Name: HSDPA Training Advanced: High speed downlink packet access (HSDPA)

Deployment Options: Onsite - Instructor-Led Training

Course Duration: 2-3 days depending on audience background and options

Introduction:

High speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) has been gaining popularity throughout the community of operators globally and deployments are ongoing. Carriers who have deployed W-CDMA/UMTS will be able to offer subscribers faster data rates, in the range of 1 to 5 Mbps, and with the introduction of multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) technology, up to 20 Mbps access is possible. HSDPA includes Adaptive Modulation and Coding techniques, fast cell search, Hybrid ARQ (H-ARQ), and advanced receiver design.

Audience:

Engineers, RF planners, designers who are responsible for the design and deployment of HSDPA technologies.

Prerequisites:

Knowledge UMTS-FDD: Network Architecture, Operation, and Design, HSDPA: Network Architecture, Operation, and Design

Customize it:

This 2-3-day HSUPA course will be customized to your needs and specifications. Eno.com will assist you in identifying those needs and specifications. A word to the wise, there are many vendors of wireless training. They will typically have a broad and general course, one size fits all, already developed and just put your organization’s name on the title slide. This minimizes their effort and time investment. At Eno.com, every course is made to your exact and exacting specifications. We help you ensure what you are getting is what you really need even if at the beginning you weren’t too sure of what that was. We fit the class to your needs. We never fit you into our “standard”, one size fits all, class.

Objectives:

This advanced course on HSDPA is intended to build on already gained classroom and/or field knowledge of design and deployment of HSDPA networks. The course takes a deeper look at frame structures, timing and synchronization of the network, enhancements, and the operation of such enhancements as HARQ.
